Terms of Service

TeePass is a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows golfers ("Sellers") to list golf tee times they cannot use, and allows other golfers ("Buyers") to claim those times. TeePass does not own, operate, or manage any golf courses, and is not affiliated with any booking platform.

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use TeePass. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. By listing a tee time, you represent that:

• The booking is real, current, and in your name or control
• You have the ability to transfer or share the confirmation details
• The confirmation number you provide is accurate
• Your asking price does not exceed face value + 25%

TeePass reserves the right to remove any listing at any time and to suspend accounts that post fraudulent or inaccurate listings.

All payments are processed by Stripe. TeePass charges a 10% service fee to Buyers on top of the Seller's listing price. An additional 2% is held in a reserve fund for dispute resolution. Sellers receive 88% of their listing price, paid out 2 hours after the tee time.

For free listings, no payment is required and no fees apply.

• Seller cancels 24+ hours before: Full refund to Buyer. First offense: warning. Repeat offenses: suspension.
• Seller cancels under 24 hours before: Full refund to Buyer + 5% penalty deducted from Seller's account balance. First offense: warning only.
• Weather cancellation: If a course officially closes, both parties receive a no-fault refund. Documentation required.
• Buyer no-show: No refund. Seller retains payment.

The dispute window is open from 30 minutes before a tee time through 2 hours after. Outside this window, all transactions auto-complete. TeePass will review disputes within 24 hours and decisions are final. We reserve the right to issue refunds from the reserve fund for verified fraudulent listings.

You agree not to:

• Post fake or expired tee times
• Circumvent TeePass by completing transactions off-platform after making initial contact on TeePass
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the platform
• Harass or threaten other users
• Use bots or automated tools to scrape or purchase listings

TeePass is a marketplace facilitator. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, the accuracy of any listing, the quality of any golf round, or any course-level policies that may affect your ability to use a transferred tee time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeePass's liability is limited to the transaction fees collected on the disputed transaction.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of TeePass after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
